LoRa + Wemos power consumption

Hello, i’m using LoRa E30 with library lorae220 and it works fine.
Also i use it with Wemos D1 mini.
The problem is i want my device to work from battery 18650 as long as possible, how can i properly do it?
Switching to deep sleep mode with Wemos? Will LoRa E30 work with Wemos properly then and how do i enter-exit it?
