Lolin D32 pro

Im trying to connect my Lolin D32 pro to a battery on the PH-2 connector. I can see there is power to the board both at BAT and 3.3v and EN appears to be high. I've tried to troubleshoot this myself, but the ESP won't turn on. I've tried using a second D32 pro board to get the same results. Both boards come on with USB....Has anyone had this experience?
