TFT24 locking up when job cancelled

MKS TFT24 V1.1 & SKR V1.3 I am using the win8 scheme if it makes a difference. If I press the stop print after starting any job it locks the tft up - leaving the heaters ON! could anyone else confirm or dispute this please?
