        Hi !

        Thanks for your work.

I tried to run EMailSenderEsp8266GMailTest after installing library

(I had to uncomment this line

        #define ARDUINO_ESP8266_RELEASE_2_4_2)

Unfortunately I get this message after sending base64 password…

        534-5.7.14 <https://accounts.google.com/signin/continue?sarp=1&scc=1&plt=AKgnsbu

        thanks

          Hi max7777,
I try the code with my WeMos D1 mini, and It’s work correctly.
You had follow the tutorial to enable less secure app or application passwd?

          Send email with attachments (EMailSender v2.x library): esp32 and esp8266 – 2

          Bye Renzo

            Hey Renzo,

i got the same problem if i connect my wemos d1 mini to the company network. At home it works fine. Do i have to open some ports to ensure the connection to the smtp server? If yes, which ports do i need to open?

            Thanks in advance

            Kind Regards,

            Deniz Braun

                Hi Deniz,
the port used to use GMail SMTP service is 465 .
I think you must only open that port, if you have more trouble we try to do a better log.
                Bye Renzo

Hey Renzo, thank you for your fast reply!

I think, i have to talk with the network admin tomorrow, so he can open the port for me.

I’ll report the result tomorrow. I guess a lot of people have this problem, so it would ne nice, if it works then.

                Kind regards,

                Deniz Braun
