You are right, good clean power is really a demand for those modules;
I did a second test in a rural area, reaching 1750m.
I’ve forgotten to mention… I’m using 915MHZ.
In the urban area, 915 may be a problem with some cell phone towers, some operators use 915.

Still, 1750m is way less than Ebyte claims to reach. In the datasheet, they mention 5km with a 5dbi antenna.

Good to raise this thread so other users can share their finds.

I will conduct the 3rd test with both ends using 12DBi antennas.
