Tagged: Auth, BeePrint, Encryption, Login
Hi everybody 🙂
First, thanks to Renzo for this beautiful (and useful) project; I’ll not be surprised if in the future beePrint will become the most used interface, as long as MKS wifi support is extended to all other printers;
I’m using it every day, and in the next days I will try also to integrate ESP-CAM, in order to have full control of printing process when I’m not at home;
But i’m a little afraid to routing the panel outside of my home network, because the printer itself will be to much exposed.
So my feature request is some kind of authentication (login & password, at least only password) that keep all the system protected; technically also the traffic on websocket should be encrypted between client and printer, it’s too easy to send a pre-heating command and move nozzle.
Thanks again for sharing,
Mauro
Hi Mauro,
I have in mind an auth solution, but probably without https (too resource and memory), so I must think better how to do.
Thanks for sharing Renzo
