ESP32 S2 SAOLA 1R ND… IDE compiling Problems.

Hello everybody,

i have a new ESP32 S2 SAOLA 1R ND board nere on my Desk.

I made some projects with ESP8266 and now Iam going to try the ESP32.

In Standard IDE the S2 is not working, so iam looking for help.

I found this great Website and a very detailed Installation Guide , which make me very fast and easy a Guide to install all Stuff for the S2 board.

SO, on this point, many thnaks for the work for making this guide.

Now I Have all doing like descriped and start to comile and upload the first sketch.

The scetch is nearly nothing. I Do only, make new Sketch. The Basic.

Then I select the ESP32S2 Dev Modul  and try to compile…. The  Arduino IDE is now compiling and compiling and compiling…… and do nothing…..

What could it be  ?  I Have Win10 64 Bit, and all steps make like in the instructions here.

Any Ideas ?

Hi Rainer,
It’s stragne, check again all the steps, then try to enable verbose debug

File->Preferences->Show verbose output during:. Tick boxes for compilation and upload.

And tell us the result.
